The second team fell to an undeserved defeat to Esker Celtic on Saturday afternoon.

Shane Whelan fired us into the lead on 26 minutes and we took control of the game thereafter.

We just couldn't find the second goal to kill the contest though and inside the last ten minutes Esker Celtic got an equaliser.

The game seemed destined to end in a draw but the visitors snatched the points with a couple of minutes to go.

We face Castleknock Celtic away in the league next Saturday.
