Balscadden FC 2-3 Castleknock

The seconds fell to a late defeat against league leaders Castleknock Celtic in Ringcommons.

The lads got off to a great start as Colm Kiernan finished off a good moveto put us ahead. Kevin McKeown doubled our lead in the second half when Balscadden were in full control against their title-chasing opposition.

However Castleknock pulled one back in the 69th minute and the momentum began to turn. They equalised with eight minutes to go and then snatched all three points in stoppage time.

A painful loss for the seconds but positives to take and lessons to learn from it.
