Balscadden FC 0-1 Baldoyle United (After extra-time)
The second team suffered an agonising extra-time defeat to Baldoyle in the Leinster Junior Shield quarter-final.
A very tight, scrappy affair looked destined for penalties but Baldoyle nicked what proved to be the winner in the first half of extra-time.
In a cagey first half, the visitors came closes to scoring, with Killian Lynch making a very good save to keep out a well-struck effort.
Balscadden improved in the second period, an Anto Ryan cross almost catching out the visiting keeper.
In extra-time, Baldoyle got a break and took it well to ultimately settle a real battle. A disappointing day for the lads but it's been a great journey with many lessons learned.
