Balscadden FC 1sts 2-2 Verona

The first team shared the points with Verona in their LSL Premier Sunday clash at Ringcommons.

Verona took the lead after a mistake allowed their striker to race towards the edge of the box and then power a very good finish into the top corner.

However Balscadden responded well to turn things around. First Philly McNally fired home the equaliser; then Ciaran Murtagh's corner going straight into the net.

A freak own goal saw Verona level things up in the second half and although the visitors had a man sent off late on, Balscadden couldn't find a winner.
