It was another frustrating afternoon for the Saturday team in LSL Division 3 Saturday as Dingle United came away with a 2-0 win.

Balscadden started well, with Dion Keogh heading over a good Anthony Ryan cross and Dion then steering a left-footed effort wide.

The hosts were in control but a mistake at the back allowed Dingle to take the lead on 25 minutes, and soon after that they pounced on a complete lapse of concentration in the team to make it 2-0.

Balscadden kept battling throughout the second half and almost got one back at the death when Kein McKeown's shot hit the post but we couldn't break down a stubborn Dingle defence.

Up next is a derby away to Hyde Park.
